Management mandate

A management mandate is the contract by which an owner entrusts the management of their property to a professional (an agency or manager), who then acts in their name for letting, collecting rent and day-to-day running.

What is a management mandate?

The management mandate formalises the delegation: the owner (the landlord) entrusts a property management agency with running their property. The agent then acts in their name for letting, collecting rent, issuing receipts and day-to-day management.

What the mandate covers

The mandate sets out the scope of the mission (day-to-day management, finding tenants, works), the manager’s fee and its term. The clearer the scope, the healthier the relationship between owner and agency.

Managing properties under mandate

An agency running dozens of properties for different owners needs a clean view per mandate and per owner. A manager dashboard and multi-building management let you run the whole set without mixing up portfolios.
